Origano strong capsules contain organic essential wild oregano oil (Origanum minutiflorum) diluted with organic cold pressed unrefined extra virgin olive oil (Olivae oleum virginale). Capsules are made of organic marine gelatin.

Wild oregano (Origanum minutiflorum) is an endemic plant species in the mint family (Labiatae). It grows exclusively in the wild areas of the Taurus Mountains in southern Turkey at an altitude of 1500 to 2000 meters where there are suitable weather conditions. Wild oregano is not the same plant species that we use as a spice in everyday food since oregano species that are used as condiments contain significantly less active chemical compound called carvacrol. Carvacrol is the main and most important compound of the wild oregano essential oil.

 

Ingredients: 25 mg organic wild oregano essential oil (Origanum minutiflorum – contains min. 80% of carvacrol), 245 mg organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil (Olivae oleum virginale), capsule (organic marine gelatin, glycerol, purified water).

Instruction for use: 1 capsule 2-3 times daily with a glass of water after food.  

Active compounds: The essential oil contains carvacrol as a main active ingredient.
